don't ever, ever, ever work on brakes unless you're wearing a dust mask, period.
I've found out the hard way that not taking this precaution can prove to be fatal. I'm nineteen years old, and I have asbestosis because I inspected my brakes.
My nose was congested that day, causing me to breath through my mouth, when I inhaled I immediately began to cough and wheeze, with a tight feeling in my chest.
My condition has progressed for 3 months, and I am at the point that I can't eat during the day, I can't sleep during the night, and the breathing I once took for granted is almost gone. The suffering that I'm enduring is awful. I still can't believe that this is happening to me.
